I am ever so gratified to find a way to offer people tools for real change.  In these days of increasing stress and confusion, it is just incredible to learn to transcend the negativity, and come to a place of beauty and optimism.

From 1989-1992 I studied with Lorna Cutler, PhD in northern California.  She had studied directly with Milton Erickson, a legend in hypnosis teachings and studies. The respect she taught us for each and every aspect of a person remains a firm foundation upon which my later learnings were built.  After having taken several classes at the university, I then did private study with Dr Cutler and a group of therapists on a monthly basis for two years. During this time, practice sessions with fellow students offered insight every week, as well as adding my own experience with a hypnotherapist weekly. Giving sessions to family and friends reinforced the value of this direction.

Having been a full-time RN since 1984, I have practiced  in med-surg,  in ICU, in Ambulatory Care/ GI lab, and the last 8 years in Women’s Health, including Labor and Delivery.

During the spring of 2004,  I took an intensive training course in California with The Hypnotherapy Training Institute, taught by Randal Churchill, Marleen Mulder, and Ormond McGill (known worldwide as "The Dean of American Hypnotists"). They are incredible teachers and tremendous people. I am certainly grateful to have attended their classes; 4 levels for a total of 200 hours of hands-on instruction. In August of 2004 I took the HypnoBirthing training with it's founder,  Marie Mongan, who is a most inspiring and energetic woman.

I am now offering the cutting-edge discoveries of  the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)  which is a simple, elegant, and fantastically efficient therapy for all kinds of conditions, both physical and emotional..  Founded by Gary Craig, it is one of the most rapidly growing therapies of the last decade.

Being a Certified Hypnotherapist through the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (A.C.H.E),  and through the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH), I am also a Certified Practitioner of HypnoBirthing. 

In these experiences with hypnosis, HypnoBirthing, and related therapies,  my love and direction for this field is certainly confirmed. It is an exciting and wondrous profession.... one which I would be honored to share with you.
